Musical Instrument of the Day: Diego Stocco, of Music From A Tree fame, was searching for a way to put the keyboard from a dismantled piano kept in his garden as a lawn ornament to good use, so he did what anyone who found themselves in a similar situation would do: He created a new instrument called the “Bassoforte” by fusing the keyboard with a broken electric bass, guitar pickups, a chimney cap, and a cabinet handle.
